  • When are lessons?
Infant Swimming Resource’s proprietary Self-Rescue™ survival swimming program is a 4-6 week course, 5 days per week, for 10 minutes a day. With a focus on safe, customized, one-on-one lessons by certified Instructors, ISR’s survival swimming lessons emphasize health, ongoing program evaluations and parent education to deliver the most effective and safest results in the industry.
  • What age children can benefit from swim lessons?
Infant Swimming Resource’s Self-Rescue™ program teaches children from 6 months to 6 years of age how to survive if they were to reach the water alone.
  • Will my child actually learn to swim?
Yes. At ISR, we believe that part of survival for a child who can walk is swimming. Children learn the swim-float-swim sequence so that they could get themselves to safety. The difference in our program is that they will learn swimming AND survival skills, and how to be an aquatic problem solver.
  • How can I learn more about the ISR method?
Unlike traditional swimming lessons, ISR’s survival swimming technique is a product of over 45 years of research and development, and is the safest approach to survival swimming in the world. Focused on your child’s stage of development and readiness, each one-on-one ISR lesson is customized to your child abilities in the water. ISR has a worldwide network of certified Instructors and has delivered more than 7 million safe lessons. As a result, ISR is proven to save lives -- with over 800 documented cases where children have used ISR’s techniques to save their own lives. Please visit www.infantswim.com for more information.
